Editorial Layout & Pop Culture

Exploring editorial layouts through character-based storytelling, typography and playful visual hierarchy.

About this project

Editorial design is about organising information in a way that feels both engaging and easy to navigate.

In this project, I experimented with page composition, visual hierarchy and the relationship between text and imagery through a pop-culture-inspired editorial spread.

By combining character illustrations with short descriptive texts, carefully arranged spacing and contrasting typographic elements, I explored how a page can remain playful without losing its structure. This exercise helped me develop a stronger understanding of editorial rhythm, alignment and the balance between information and visual storytelling.
